Le temps des fruits (Fruits season) is a stunningly beautiful performance that seamlessly blends contemporary dance with theatre and video projection. We witness a performance where two individuals open up vulnerabilities within themselves, embarking on a quest for authenticity within their heritage, in the midst of a world they wish to rebuild. A work very much of its time, designed to engage a wide audience. Their everyday presence and the words of the initial moments gradually give way to the poetry of their bodies.

A woman, a man, a marble interface, and the agony of civilizations. Dressed in formal attire on the timeline, Marilyn and Gabriel document and take on legacies that tend to be lost in the cycle of knowledge transmission: knowledge of the heavens, of plants, and feminine powers. In this multidisciplinary piece playing on memory, transmission, and aspirations, they explore both the stereotypes that define them and a desire for authenticity. Laden with millennia of conquests, ancient knowledge, discoveries, anxieties, and disappointments, they deconstruct the stereotypes that define them and aspire to contribute to a renewed humanity. The work is supported by a video design anchored in the present, interwoven with the stage action in a genuine dramaturgical effort to amplify the work's semantic scope.
